Debbie Newman wants people to laugh at her. Hard. Because the more people laugh, the more she can give back to the community. You see, Debbie is a comedian with a real heart for philanthropy.
Known for her sense of humor, Debbie was a valued employee at Schnitzer Steel’s Eugene facility. That’s why the Eugene team sits front-row center when Debbie steps up to the microphone for her next comedy gig. It also has a lot to do with the fact that Debbie dedicates proceeds from her shows to the benefit of local nonprofits. As the audience laughs, Debbie gains the satisfaction of knowing that together, she and those she entertains are helping organizations like the Greenhill Humane Society and Camp Harlow, which hosts a summer camp for children with cancer.
