Making Strides Toward a Stronger Community
They pull on their shoes, lace them up tight and take purposeful steps toward change. The employees at Pick-n-Pull in Sacramento have taken up walking for an important cause – Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). MADD’s mission and its “Strides for Change Walk-A-Thon” struck a chord with the Pick-n-Pull team because their facility processes many vehicles damaged in alcohol-related accidents. The team also proudly presented MADD with a contribution of $5,000.
And that’s not all they do to help build a strong and safe community. The Pick-n-Pull employees also support fire safety and prevention efforts. They provide space and auto bodies for the local fire department to use in “Jaws of Life” and other lifesaving training exercises.
